        Out of the smoker and split. Next time I'll use a 1 1/8 flat bit to allow more stuffing.

          Maybe a 1.5” hole saw. Save short end plugs... core rest with your 1-whatever all the way thru. Insert plugs. More pepper!

                  Sawsall, and a hammer drill. 2" auger. Put the tail end back on with liquid nails and seal with some high temp RTV.
