Well went to a New Years Eve party and made up some Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage Balls. Used some apple wood for smoke. these where a huge hit with the group at the party. Pretty easy to make, 2 pounds Italian sausage ( I used Checkered Past's mix, added fennel seeds) one onion, a few jalops, bag of cheddar, 2 Tbls MHGP, 2 cups Bisquick. Mix, then wrap with 1/2 piece of bacon and sprinkle with MHGP, and on the smoker around 300* until your bacon is crispy.. sausage will be about 180* I find...
Then yesterday with the break in the weather yesterday went ahead and made some BBQ chicken to snack on for the games. So tossed on some boneless thighs and coated with Blues Hog 50/50 mix with the Tenn . Red. Was some very good chicken..
