Birds and some ribs for the Bronc420's game

got popped with a little snow:



Messed around the rotisserie again, a couple of birds, stuffed the cavity with: lime wedges, garlic/ginger paste, kosher salt, olive oil, serano peppers, cilantro, cumin, black pepper, green onions. Rubbed them with some lard & then trussed em' up & got em on the spit:



hit them with some pepper spice blend, and some kosher salt, cooked indirect over lump and bourbon barrel oak slats:








Banged out some enchiladas with the bird.

Wow those both look great! What do you call those meaty ribs?? Do they have a special name/cut for those? I assume you got those from your butcher guy?

they are sold as babybacks, at a butcher shop in Ottawa, IL. way more meaty than any I typically see/use.

Almost like a full porkchop worth of meat on each rib. We were getting popped with snow so I had to limit where I could shop. These turned out good, just had to foil them which I dont typically do.

Looks awesome! Do you have to be 420 friendly to enjoy Bronco football? Just wondering. I know sobriety makes it difficult to be a Chiefs fan!:p
