    Went to the grocery store today for some peaches... go figure that we wouldn't have any here in the middle of nowhere North Dakota this time of year!!! Dam it anyhow!! Maybe next week.....

                Made these again tonight. Use tinned peach halves. Filling was mix of mascarpone and cream cheese, with a little vanilla extract, sugar, lemon zest and half a lemons worth of juice.
                Sprinkle brown sugar and mixed spice on top before cooking.

                Make them a few times a year - always go down well, cheers Becky !

                            Apparently Lidl opened in the states this week.
                            So you can get the tinned peach halves I use - no excuses any more :-)
