Well I finally got around to taking a few snaps of my collection. I noticed that I have another 8" & 12" frying pan not in the pictures. I also have a 10" dutch oven that I do most of my frying in that I forget to take a shot of.

I really need to organize them better.

Oh well here's what I have so far:
dutch ovens and pans.


chicken frier I got form my grandmother.


My $15 cast iron grill find and my gifted Lodge grill. I need to season that lodge one.

Thanks it's a petite collection compared to most. I continually add to it when i find great deals.

I just learned my wifey got me a 8" dia. [2 quart] camp dutch oven for my birthday!

I've been really wanting one but waiting for a pilgrimage to the Lodge outlet.

Thanks. I'm lucky that there's a small town near here that has a bunch of antiques and junk collections. There's this one place that has tons of cast iron cookware. I check in from time to time to see if there's anything new passing thru. I can get some good deals sometimes.

I got the 2 qt DO. It looks like the perfect size. I have to get some cooking done on it this weekend.

Well, early Christmas gathering with the inlaws yielded a great new CI addition! 5qt lodge Dutch oven!!!



Put a thin layer of canola on it and put in oven at 350 for an hour. Can't wait to break it in! Also received some cAsh so went to ebay and bought a 2qt lodge Dutch oven and #8 lodge deep skillet (my lid from my 5qt DO fits this :-). )

awesome. I use one of those strictly for frying on a camp chef cooker.
