      I got on a collectin' kick about two years ago and just kinda let it build up. Garbage sales, flea markets, and thrift shops. I've slowed some but I ain't finished yet. Gonna move some of the cheaper made stuff and keep the good ones. Chasin' CI is a lot easier than chasin' other stuff.

        I don't know if you could call it a collection, but . . . here it is.

        Does having a bigger picture make it look like more?

        Mom's old Wagner 10" and a 9 quart Le Creuset that my wife got me for my birthday last year.

        Man, I sure did eat a lot of fried chicken and taters that were cooked in that Wagner growing up.

        The Le Creuset is porcelain coated and the Wagner is finally getting a good surface back on it after I neglected it in the garage. Didn't know what I had until you folks educated me.

        Did a couple of Pam/Crisco/oven/gas grill seasonings to it but what seems to be working the best is using it. Frying a pound of bacon in it every once in awhile seems to do wonders for it.

                              Oh, my!

                              If I put out all my cast iron in one place at one time:

                              (a). I'd need a very wide angle lens to photograph it all;
                              (b). My back would be sore for days; and
                              (c). My wife would realize how much iron I really do own.

                              Ain't gonna happen. ;-)
