  • I've got small wood ????

Just took a small limb off the old apple tree that won't die. Never worried about leaving the bark on using the sfb char- grilla , enough heat to toast the bark when tossed on the coals. Using the webber a lot more now and tossing a chunk on the grate over the vortex works good
Should I worry about leaving the bark on and using it once seasoned ?
Or just put the lill wood under the grate on the vortex when I use them ??
Wasn't till after I cut it into chunks that i wished I'd have scored through the bark lengthwise so the bark would peel easy once it seasoned.

Nice wood! Bust it with a hatchet, and don’t sweat the bark. It’ll likely peel off when dry if it bothers you.

No, umm, no it's not. With that said, sir, I think your wood is average and should do the job quite nicely.

Squirrels normally nibble the bark off.
