  • Some Meat for Future Meals

Did some cooking today to make up some vac packed stuff to put in the freezer for future lunches and dinners.

Started with some country style ribs.

Slathered with mayo and a good dusting of Mad Hunky General Purpose Rub.

On to the UDS over RO lump with some apple wood tossed in. Target smoking temp is 240ish°.

A few hours later I fired up the Vortex and put on some chicken thighs seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder.

    Progress shot of the ribs.

    Chicken is about done.

    And done.

Don't know where the final rib pic got to. Oh well, it looked pretty much like the progress pic.

Ktichen smelled real good. Had one of each then vac packed the rest for future meals.

    Thanks for lookin'.
