For the lazy, less industrious people......

Decided this morning we were doing dogs tonight so I went to the store. You know where I stand

      I didn't see any of Graco's buns there .....

Wife , dog , and I spent a week in Maine near Acadia last month. Had a lobster roll at good place that even the locals actually eat at and recommend. To me the roll and butter were the best parts I agree 100% , that forcing prisoners to eat nasty azz lobster more than once a week is cruel and inhumane punishment.
Mixed with crab was a little better but not much.
Fried clams on that nice roll was very good

Thanks for the write up Mall-u-mutt man , I enjoy all your posts

And quit thinkin' 'bout it , get that new pup

You'll only find the rolls (rolls, not buns) I make in your dreams

I've never had these but here is an interesting quote that I cannot substantiate:
"Beware, The Pepperidge Farms top sliced hot dog bun is ALL WRONG. I just bought some by accident (no problem getting new england style buns here in upstate NY) --and they are crazy. What they are is a regular hot dog bun cut from the top down on a slight diagonal. No raw flat sides to butter and grill, completely wrong."

From what I can see from the picture on the package, the author knows what he is talking about..

Next time I'll grind the flour, make the butter, and cultivate my own yeast. That should drive the naysayers here mad as hatters.

I didn't mean it as a dig, I meant it as a compliment that we can't get home made.

Sorry if it came off wrong.
