You should stay with 3/4" pipe.. 1/2" will work but you will not have good pressure.. The least expensive route is Sch 40 you can find a thinner wall PVC, but I would stay with the 40. If you are wanting roll pipe, you can use PEX Pipe.. Good stuff easy to use.. A bit more $$ but worth it.. They call it SharkBite at Home Depot..

Let me know if you need any more help..
I'd go with the pex/wirsbo for what you need. Or just buy a longer hose.
Once you go Weber....you never call customer service....

Would of answered sooner, but I was doing beer can chicken. I am a master plumber also and after being here for a while I think I might be able to cook a brisket.
Onto the question, I do not disagree with Ken but you will need to keep it 3/4" because you will lose volume more than pressure. Run the main part out of 3/4" all the way to your hose bibbs, which you can get in a 1/2" pipe size.
Being that your in Florida I wouldn't think you would have a freezing problem?

I would go to home detox or a wholesale plumbing store and get a roll of PE (poly ethylene) most guys call it poly. Its the same stuff that they use for lawn sprinkler. Pex pipe doesn't like UV rays and could break down.
I would go with One inch, because once you get it there you will always want more water. t
