  • Rib steak w fresh morel mushrooms

    Went camping this last weekend and found lots of fresh morel mushrooms also some cauliflower mushrooms


    Rib steak on the right small Porter House on the Left



    Shrooms soaking



    shrooms were sauteed in butter and garlic and on top of the steak and spuds they go







    We found probably 8 pounds of morels ,,,doing some dehydrating in my smoker for some of them headed back out this weekend again

        Never been fortunate to have morels, and I doubt I'd find any in Jersey. They do look fabulous though and probably went well with that great looking steak!

        Nice job Sir.

        Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
        My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.
