          it's funny how all the old "cheap" cuts that used to be both affordable and provide lots of flavor have now become "en vogue" and super expensive. Tongue, ox tail, brisket (at least around here), chicken wings, etc.

          I've only had the pleasure of ox tail once, in osso bucco aboard a cruise, and it was fantastic. I had some ox tail in my freezer for a while but every time I wanted to use it the wife shot me down. So eventually it went bad and I had to throw it out. Someday if I find them cheap enough again I will stash more in the freezer and make something when she's not looking :)

            I never had Ox Tail either, but I'm sure I'd like it !!
