Grits
Ingredients
4 cups water We used (2C Heavy whipping cream, 2C water)
Salt and pepper
1 cup stone-ground grits
3 tablespoons butter
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Bring water to a boil. Add salt and pepper. Add grits and cook until water is absorbed, about 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter and cheese.Last edited by TKOBBQ; 01-29-2018, 01:06 PM.

You did a great job there. That looks fantastic!
As it were, I did up a pan last night with some fried rice. However, if I knew how to make grits, I think I like your version better.
I live in CO every time I hear grits, the scene from My Cousin Vinny pops into my head. You just never see them here.Pete
