Off siders picking up some new trees so I'll give you the prawn recipie it's good with steak too.
For about a pound of prawns
L large green onion
3 cloves of garlic
Table spoon or so of chilli flakes
Chopped chives and or parsley
Table spoon or so of butter
Melt butter over low heat and then add first 3 ingredients
Sauté carefully so ya don't burn them
When soft and fragrant add prawns and cook until just cooked, add chives paralysis S&P and thicken slightly if required with corn flour paste
Sometimes I add a dash of lemon juce or leave out chilli depends on my mood
That's the basics tho and it works good with scallops too

Taking the trees out by hand?
Damn that's a lot of work compared to a backhoe.
Heard if you bury corn cobs around and in a stump pigs will destroy it to get to them.
No idea how well this works so we usually just end up grinding down or drilling holes in and adding stump crap with salt to get ours gone.
