Ok, so Scott asked a bit back ago on some ideas on bacon grease use. Here are some sliced potatos i make in a foil envelope on the grill. First off we need to start out with some taters, i like slicing with the "krinkle" cutter. I think the increased surface area exposed decreases cooking time needed. also note my feeble attempt at the waffle cut. I gave that up in a hurry.
Not shown are the sliced onions, but here is bacon grease from home made bacon, and my favorite season salt.
All ingreds into foil envelope then to grill and cook till done. i also add a little olive oil for instant lube until the bacon grease melts.
Here they are with some elk medallions.

Same deal except some leftover home made bacon from breakfast.
And with stuffed shroom and TQ chicken thigh.
