    I forgot how time consuming and fun video editing is.

          DDave, buddy you rocked it! I'm taking a guess here but I think the embeding issue may have been because your were not in advanced edit mode. The forum has two edit modes. basic or quick edit and advanced editor. I'm not sure about the aspect ratio squishing down. That is usually a format conversion issue. Was it a mp4 format? Ken is the master of the BBQ Tube he may be able to shed some light.

          Regardless of the minor issues it was a good video! What caused the temp drop? Was it lack of fuel?
          Smoke it.. and they will come!

              Cool video Dave!! man I will take that rain for you! After 12 hours in the smoker the oven will be just fine to finish it in, be just as good since its taken in all the smoke it will. Points on the video man!! and the pulled pork!

                Thanks, guys. It was fun.

                The soundtrack is actually from my son's 7th and 8th grade band concert the other night. He is playing the keyboards with the "rock guitar" sound.

                We taped it with his Kodak Playsport cam then I stripped some of the audio out and made MP3 files out of them. He thought that was kind of cool to hear it in the video.

                It was a 640x480 mpg.

                Yep. Running out of fuel. But it was a good test. I got 12 hours out of it with the deflector in. Usually I'll do two 5 pound butts and foil at 170° and they take 9 hours or so. So I'm good with the 12 hours I got yesterday. Especially since it burned all the way down without me having to "shake" the drum or any of that.

                  I discovered this morning there was a big wad of leaves and pine needles covering the downspout on that gutter. All clear now.
