  • rosemary boneless leg of lamb w/pics

    here is a starter for the lamb forum, a leg of lamb from sam's, my first time cooking lamb too... made a marinade???? olive oil,garlic,salt,pepper,and rosemary


    brushed it on and into bag in frig for a while


    in smoker at 225 or so


    smoked to 140, next time i will pull at 135, i did put in foil and wrapped in towels to rest in a cooler


    and the inner view, nice and moist. very good i will try this again!!!

                Looks great Erain did you let the leg come to room temp before you started the smoke??

                        Lamb chops are my favorite.Gotta watch em close though,they can get overdone easily.

                        I agree with ya on the earlier take off. Lamb is one of those meats that you don't want to overcook. Might even think about comming off at 130 and then the rest will bring it to 135.

                            This looks really good. About how long did it take to get to 135*. I really want to try this, but think I may have to wait until the weekend. Dont know if I have time to do during the week and have ready in time for dinner.
