              Perhaps,

              I believe the old saying:

"its the cook, not the cooker".

Got another one of these bad boys on order for next weekend and my daughters 6th b-day party.

$2.69/lb. for fresh, locally farm raised pork isn't too bad.

Not with the price of fuel, the guys around here just order it from the packers downtown, I love farm raised pork.

hoping so, need to have it ready by 3:00 p.m. tomorrow. It weighed in @ 8.75 lbs, so figuring a 15 hour window should be enough. Some pics later while im trimming it up.

I dont think I have done a shoulder/butt in about a year, maybe more. Been craving a nice pulled pork sandwich with some fresh slaw.

WSM, with the water pan(need a long slow burn), RO lump, hickory and a kiss of cherry.

                                lol, aka liquid gold...

Reminds me of an episode of Dinner Impossible I saw this week, there was a dude who ran a "bbq" restaurant who reheated his ribs and turkey legs in the microwave before serving, and best yet, his secret bbq sauce recipe that had been passed down for generations was....... a bottle of what looked like KC Masterpiece he doctored with some additives & passed off as his own sauce..
