        All looks good.

        Only things I'd change would be to not bother deboning - we never have or do, can't really see the point lol
        and I'd cook it to 150
        Really not a fan of the current vogue of eating meat half raw. Slightly pink - yes, really pink, nah
        And I love the flavour of lamb fat lol

        But an excellent job for a first time. Never have understood why americans don't eat more lamb.

        Sure it's expensive, but that's partly down to the fact that it's not cost effective to battery farm lamb - so it's always free range. I consider this a major point in lambs favour.

        Have to admit we don't eat anywhere near as much lamb as we'd like to, but that's purely down to cost :-)

              i was same as you... never tasted, never smoked... but when i did i thought it was pretty awesome. i like wild game alot so mebe fits my taste a little better than some. looks to me like you did a fine job!!!
