  • Doing Some Babybacks

Was gonna do some country style ribs today. Stopped at Safeway yesterday to pick some up but they didn't have any out in the meat section. I briefly thought about asking the butcher but then saw these babybacks and figured that'll work.

Pulled the membrane off (Rich's "tease and pull" worked pretty good ) and rubbed 'em down with mayo.

Applied a good dusting of MH GP rub.

Let that soak in a bit.

Then a dusting of brown sugar.

Let that soak in a bit.

    And onto the smoker.

Smoking at 240ish° over RO lump with some chunks of peach wood mixed. in. Smells good outside now.

    More later.

C'mon Dave. You know that you really wanted to smoke racks of ribs and that's why you weren't disappointed when they didn't have the boneless country style ribs.

You always smoke great lookin' racks of ribs.
