  • Sirloin Tip Roast Ejection on the Weber

Injected with Rich's Beef Injection. Been in the fridge for almost 2hr now.
Gonna fire up the kettle and get it started about 2:00
Figure to run about 300-325 with Stubbs briquettes and hickory until IT hits 140-145.

Looking good so far. That injection should make for a tender, juicy chunk of beef.

              Here's the Update

Hit it with Montreal Steak Seasoning and on it goes

              About an hour in

              3 Hours

              Add the rains came

Wanted to pull at 140-145. Missed it...Pulled at 150. You can see the injection holes. No tracks!!!

Mrs Cav put together some zucch's and red pepper with the pizza shake

Made some brown rice with red pepper, red and green onion

Mrs Cav's with the taters and gravy

The injection has such a nice richness (no pun intended) to it.
Meat was so tender and juicy I literally cut it with a butter knife.

I was a little apprehensive being this was the first time I've stuck a needle in a non living piece of meat. Will be doing this again.

              Thanks for lookin
