      When I used to use a rack I put them in whichever way fit the best. I can't say I ever saw any real difference. They all ate just fine!

        I do remember we sauced em flat on grill,but by then any major drippage was gone with a rack below...Looks like its gonna work for you...Judges always liked ours when we did em that way with exact same rack holder...

              Congrats on the new rack Rich... got me thinking I need one for my WSM. How much of a PITA is it to clean? I've read that's one of the conns to that unit.
