I turned in my excuse. Glad all went well. As I said earlier after telling my son about the place last weekend he is a big fan. Then again he just lives a short drive from there.

Too far for me to drive on my budget, but I did manage to get outside, but no cooking.

Fished a local steelhead tourney with my oldest son. Had an awesome day with many fish on and in the boat. It was a great event for both of us. It is always on the same weekend, so I can never get down to Lockharts for their event.

It was just the two of us against 29 other guys, in my son's (new to him) boat.
It was fun watching him be " the captain" this time for a change. We did very well. We finished in 4th place, and I managed to catch the biggest fish of the day for a $76 cash bonus.
Best part was watching my boy beam with joy as we weighed our fish.

                            So thats my excuse Bubba.
I know you folks at Lockharts do a great job organizing these events, and helping us with many other michigan events. A real class act for sure. I trust that everyone involved was pleased with the day. The good lord sure did shine on us with the awesome weather.
