Lets get this thing rolling!
$30 entry fee.
ANY type of cooker allowed.
Lockharts will supply you with 3 racks of trimmed Spares and 2 whole 3.5# birds and 2 turn in boxes.
You will turn in 6 ribs (depending on judges) and 6 pieces of chicken.
I'm going to make the chicken a chefs choice meaning you turn in what ever you want. As long as theres enough samples for each judge.
Open garnish BUT not required.
Set up starts at 7ish. start cooking when ready.
Chicken turn in will be 1:00
Rib turn in will be 2:00
Awards when im done calculating.
Rest of unused ribs and chicken will be boned into single servings and turned in to be given to Lockharts guests.
1st prize $300 and a trophy
2nd prize $200 and a trophy
3rd prize will be some Lock gift cards, swag and a trophy.
I have to know if your in by the 26th so i can have enough meat for each team.
