Howdy all, I wanted to share the great news with y'all. Kelly and myself have officially entered our first BBQ comp.

This event is 12 miles from my house. We have entered ourselves under the team name "Two Irish Fools BBQ Team". It is an IBCA event. We are ecstatic about joining these level of BBQ enthusiasts. We are very confident that we do have some thing to add to the comp. Without a doubt. Yet We are not expecting a top 3 finish. That would be awesome! We shall see. We are going into this very open minded and looking for some sort a braggin rights. Like a 15th outta 32 teams would be worth it to me. Now...Kelly just might bitch slap me for settling for less...lol Any way there are some things, like NO GARNISH in the box, for an ICBA event. We will be doing Brisket,Pork butt, ribs and half jointed chicken. for the turn ins. $2- 2 ounce tasters for the public, as well! We are entering this comp with my reverse flow, stick burner... What's the worst that can happen? We have a damn good time?
With the bosses permission, we would like to fly the S-M banner at our site!
We are a part of the best BBQ site on the net,IMHO! So here we go! Yeehaw!
