MSRP is $69.99 but higher volume dealers will usually have it for $10 or $15 under that.
Smoke it.. and they will come!

Just curious how did the temp on the maverick compare to your smoker gauge you normally use?

I normally don't go to much by the smoker gauge. I tend to go by grate temp. So I used my ET-73. The ET-732 was within 2 degrees of a cheap grate thermometer I have. I can't test it with my olf ET-73 because I killed it when I knocked it off my second story deck. Oops! It was within about 10-15 degrees of the Smoker temp gauge. This would stand to reason as one is measuring at grate level and the other much higher.

Well the alarms and temp threasholds work great on the ET-732. I was in our Chat room the other night just yapping away (well, typing away) and forgot I need to dump some pellets into my cooker. Oops... Alarm sounded as the cooker was cooling down and I was able to quickly get it fired back up and save the yardbirds. Which by the way were amazing glazed with Big Moe's BBQ sauce.

I broke that silly-assed switch on my first one a few years ago, and replaced the broken switch with a mini-toggle switch. I have pix at home how I did it... I'll dig them out if you'd like.

                    Right on Doc!

One thing I think they could improve on is that it would be nice if they put a bigger display on the transmitter unit. I tend to leave the receiver in the house and end up looking at the transmitter display when I'm out in the area of my cooker. I'm not going to cary the thing on my belt.

ok came home and yes my maverick et-732 is here ...been playing with and decided to take it for a spin i turned it on and sat it on my computer desk in the house now where it sits and the front outside of the house there are 2 walls one them being brick...went across the street to neigbors house good reception....now i started to walk to see how far i can get and man let me tell ya its phreakin cold outside i went over 4 blocks and still had reception and you may think " oh just line of sight " true i was directly north of my house just 4 blocks over but....there are at least 6-7 house , trees , fences , and cars that the signal had to go thru to get to me...that right there my friends impressed me...so to me i think the $75.00 i spent is worth the money....so i am still going to do a video review this weekend so stay tuned....

Not doubting you but . . . will the ET-732 tell you if it lost signal? Because the ET-73 won't. I could walk 4 blocks away with it and unless the temp changed, I'd never know I lost the signal but I know I certainly would.

                            WOW!!

Then I'd say they fixed the range problem.
