  • Homemade Propane Burner Using a Zerk Fitting

    Back in August I purchased a handful of regulators off of Craigslist. (Thread here)

    Well I finally got off my tail and found some scrap material and grabbed the black iron pipe and fittings I needed and got to it!

    Started by modifying a zerk fitting by drilling out the back side to remove the spring and ball.




    Ended up with this...



    Here's a video of just the burner...

      Oh Yeah...that baby is puttin' out the BTUs...no dirty yellow flame for a jet burner. Damn sure boil some oil and heat some water...sound is cool too...full afterburner !

                I was really surprised with how loud it is!

                I have one more regulator...I'm debating on what to do with it...

                          Rich...I can buy a lot of smoker fodder for what lobsters cost...sheesh!
