Test & Evaluation opportunity for a new pork pulling product (Pork N’ Pull).
Hi everyone! I was contacted by Sal Giuliano, the owner of a product called Pork N’ Pull, to do a test and evaluation of his tool to make pulling pork an easier process. Instead of me doing this through SmokingPit.com I approached Sal with the idea of getting some of his pork pulling tools in the hands of Smoked Meat forum members and letting you folks give it a go and see if you like it.
I discussed this with Ken, Rich and Dave and what we are looking for is testers who will give the tool a fair test on multiple pork butts. What I mean by fair test is fully cook the meat to pulling temp 190 degrees F or more. Most of you know this but for anyone new to this might not. Undercooked meats won’t be prime for pulling and this tool would not work well nor would pulling it by hand. That said we are looking for 12 people to each receive a Pork N’ Pull unit at no cost to them to test. The unit will be yours to keep or do with what you wish after the test.
What we need from you is your honest opinion of the product after using it in the appropriate conditions (fully cooked pork butts) and the information posted in this thread. I will get Sal to join us so he can monitor the thread and answer any questions you might have. The Pork N’ Pull simply fits into your electric mixer just as your mixer blades do. There is the caveat… In order to use the Pork N’ Pull you must have access to a decent electric mixer. To be fair this mixer should be in good working order. Mixers with wore out motors may pose a problem. Again we are looking for a fair test.
Feel free to throw your name in the hat by replying to this thread stating you would like to test the Pork N’ Pull and if we get more than 12 folks interested I will draw names. The folks drawn to test will then need to send me their shipping information so I can get that to Sal. The Pork N’ Pull units will ship directly from Sal to your door at no cost to you.
