Firebox measures 13x17.5
If I trim down about an inch off the top, I can get it in.
Do you think the basket will be to close to the walls of the firebox?
The basket is per directions of this post, which is most excellent I might add.

Naw..trim the inch and it's fine. You don't need alot of room for airflow.
Matter of fact... cutting the stuff and folding over that inch will help with strength of the basket, for lifting purposes, especially when hot.

Actually I cut myself when doing the tutorial, but being in construction that's pretty normal for me...
