The sauce I use for this dish is not a true Alfredo sauce, it's a combination of a modified Alfredo sauce and a modified scampi sauce.

Modded Alfredo sauce. Cream, garlic, finely chopped sweet basil, & Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. This will be very thick
Scallops sauteing in melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, sea salt, & CBP
When the sauce and the scallops are ready. I combine them & dust the top with some chopped parsley
Scallop sauce poured over angel hair pasta topped with shredded Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, a little more chopped parsley, & served with garlic bread
