  • Pork Steaks Done Like Ribs

Picked up a pack of pork steaks that were reduced to two dollars at the grocer. Had a hankering for some ribs so I hit them with some head country and fired up the Weber with lump and apple. Cooked them indirect to 165, and foiled with brown sugar and honey to 195. Then I glazed them with a thinned sauce and man did they come out beautiful. Rubbed the taters with olive oil and sea salt, delicious!

Not bad for an under three dollar meal, thanks for checking out my dinner.

Those are some purty steaks, Tim. Looks like a crispy skin on the potatoes too. I'll have to give you for making me hungry so early in the morning.

I have done them the same way, it's a win-win. Nice loookin' dinner!

I do mine pretty much the exact same way. Lotta flavor, quick, and cheap.

Funny story about foiling them, had them cooked and ready for sauce and my wife informed me she was leaving for an hour. Didn't want them to dry out so I decided to foil them while she was gone and glad I did. Will definitely do them again this way.
