  • Pork Loin Jerky

Made some pork loin jerky...partially froze the loin and cut slices approx 3/16" thick.

Used some Mad Hunky jerky mix / cure and disolved it in a couple of cups of this...

After an overnight nap, I used the Gunslinger paperclip hanging method...

The more I eat, the more I want. I ate a bunch this morning watching some college basketball...I just kept going back to the fridge for another hunk. Definitely worth a try if you haven't made any yet. I also highly recommend Rich's jerky gig.

Thanks for checkin' out my project...JERKY!

That's my problem also. Jerky doesn't last too long around here.

Glad to see ya on the pork loin jerky train. Been doing it a few years now and it’s cost effective and GOOD!

Not to dissuade you from using MH products..but DO try an Asian thing with it. Red pepper, soy, ginger as a base. Freakin’ awesome stuff...

Nice job on the jerky! I got 9lbs of loin in the freezer just for jerky that I haven't gotten to yet. Soon. I've made some in the past and it's good stuff. And cheap.

Thanks for that. I've got a recipe I use but I'm going to try some of this as well.
