Test iphone pics to Tapatalk
I post, then edit to add pics
I can see some pics when on Tapatalk from Jailer That I can not see when viewing site through Safari. Must vary by device I guess?

May I suggest Postimage.org would be much easier, if only for the short term.
It is but the downside is it's still off site hosted at someone else's whim.
The upside of using the attachment feature is the pics are stored here and as long as the forum is around the pics will be too. But unfortunately as has been displayed in this thread it adds a frustrating level of complexity to get it to work for your average users.
Another downside is file size. Most people don't resize their images before uploading, especially when posting from a mobile device. The file space adds up quick especially with most mobile devices having large megapixel cameras now days.

As I have said many times, I host my own, and I do resize before I post. Nikon + Photoshop = My friends...
Try Again:
I tried to do everything "The Iceman" told me to do, but instead of the picture showing up, the code shows up with the [IMG]-----[/IMG] on the ends.
Now what did I do wrong?

Yes I am using MacBook Pro with Safari, just like The Iceman uses.

Exactly---Fool me once!!!
I don't want to learn another thing like PB, and move my Pics there, and then 6 months later they pull the same shit as PB. If I use the Forum Attachment feature, and the Forum goes down, my Pics won't be needed there anyway.

Computer Dumb Bear
Hang in there Bear, it took me a while. It looks like you are selecting the image on your computer, not the one you uploaded. After uploading the file, select the file in the box below where you uploaded it. It should open a new window.

So after reading the above, I edited my Post, and clicked on my Thumbnail.
Then when the Pic opened up from the Thumbnail, I dragged the pick aside, and closed the box. That brought my Post back up, so I dragged the Pic back & dropped it in the box. The pic turned into the code just like all the other times, so I added [IMG]-----[/IMG], and the same thing happened, instead of the Pic coming up, The Code came up wrapped with my IMG tags, just like the other times.
I think I'm going to have to call The Iceman----(Picture Guru Master) Sometime this evening.
