Kelly cooked up some these beans for the 4th, and I must say these were fantastic. I'm a semi bean fanatic, so I poured them over the top of Kels lovely tri sammies. WHOA bud! That there is what Imma talkin' 'bout! Very good

typically uncooked. You can be a bit more "healthy" and do a partial fry out on it. Don't crisp it tho..ruins the texture after it's soaked in the beans.

I/We don't eat a lot of beans, so if I am smoking or grilling a dinner & someone asks for them as a side I will buy them canned, usually Bush's. I just bought some about 3 weeks ago to smoke & take to a friends BBQ & could not believe how fricken expensive they are/were now ..... I guess I might have to start making them from scratch

                        Rant over.... Just an observation

Tip your killing me wit these beans. I'm going to have to try these. In fact I'm about ready o make a batch of my spicy pickled eggs and after they are sealed up in the jars for 30 days and I break the seal, I should have them with the Guiness Stout and these beans.

The beans will finally give me an out. My wife blames the expelled aroma on the eggs. I blame it on the bulldog but she knows better. I can now blame it on the beans and take the heat off my egg pickling which was put on hold for an extended period after the last batch.

I bet the beer, beans and spice pickled eggs will work together in perfect harmony.
Smoke it.. and they will come!

Oh heck these beans seem like they should have their own stage alone. I'll have them for dinner and the eggs a late night snack. Are we going to get pics of these beans because we kinda got left hanging in the wind without pics here... Hint hint!
