First thanks to all of the others who submitted entries!! These type of things are fun to do and that is what makes this a great place. So here is to you

So when I saw the topic of comfort food a nice Meatball Hoagie came to mind.
So I made up some nice meatballs.
basic recipe I use is as follows:
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
3/4 lb ground pork (80/20)
1/2 lb ground veil
2 eggs
1.5 cups seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 parm cheese
GARLIC about 4-7 cloves depending on size
salt and pepper
Here they are all balled up.

Tossed them on the smoker at 245* till they reached 165* IT.
Here are the meatballs off of the smoker.

I then took some homemade tomato sauce (fresh puree, garlic, basil, salt and pepper) and put the meatballs in for about 10 minutes.
Then got a fresh Hoagie roll (the in-laws just came in from Philly with fresh rolls) and sliced open and sliced the meatball in half and placed on roll withe fresh Moz. and under the broiler it went for a few min to melt the cheese.
Served with classic chips.

A cut shot:

Thanks for viewing and to all those who tossed votes my way!!
