Wanted to try my newly running UDS, so I thawed out a couple pieces of salmon from costco, and soaked a cedar plank.
I used a rub I got from the butcher...they no longer carry it, so I got the last of it. I'm hoping they'll start selling it because it's really good on fish.
Looks damn good. What does the cedar plank do here? I know at higher heat (oven) it "smokes" and gives the salmon some smoke flavor. Does that work like this too?
