Not familiar with that model, but I’m pretty sure your issue may be yer using it sideways
Looks like pretty much a UDS variant. Might look into a heat deflector. What’s it got for air intake?

Why do you need a manual? Looks like it's working good for ya...Any cooking questions can be answered here...Probably not in a manual...

I just picked on of these up for $20. Have had a Cookin' Cajin water smoker for 30 year. but it finally rusted out. But i can't figure out how to adjust the racks round racks in the new to me New Braunfels round smoker. 15" round racks, but cylinder is 15" diameter also with three rack holders (shelves two on sides, one on back), but the racks wont lay flat. Will be doing the mods shown above too. Don't like the open bottom. ThanksComment
