    I don't think our groceries here sell oinions. And I'm a bit unclear on how many oinions to use(if I could find them, that is).

    Is that 2(16 oz) lbs, or 2lbs 16oz(3 lbs)?

    If I ever find oinions, I did find more recipes calling for them.

      As far as spelling goes - I use the oxford ENGLISH dictionary. y'all can use your american spellings if you like ;-)

      it's taken me 2 years to get most of you to recognise there's no such word as carmelize (work in progress) I'm prepared to except caramelize

        ah yes my onion oinion blindspot . I also have a tendency to write tomatoe and potatoe.
        But the one I was actually thinking about was why would I put 2lb 16oz instead of 3 lb.
        I think the answer is that I only had 2lb 14oz of onions and typed it in wrong on the picture, of course that might be 3 lb of oinions
