Today for lunch I was thinking... "Man that shrimp stir fry I did yesterday would be good right about now". But I was out! Kids ate it all gone!
Of course I helped allot with that...
I had me some red & green bell peppers, red onion, green onion, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, MH HAW and pepper. Hell I was just missing meat. And there is was on the bottom shelf... SOme fine Tatonka Dusted Tri Tip from a couple days ago.
I fired up the gas oven....
Sorry... I had limitted time... When the Lodge Cast Iron Wok was at temp in went the peanut oil. Next all the veggies. Towards the end I added the Tri Tip, 1/2 cup home style gravy and 1/4 cup Bone Suckin Hot BBQ sauce. In the stire fry I had 1 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce and 1 tbsp sesame seed oil along with 1 tbsp MH HAW.
At this point the house was smelling pretty darn good. I could tell this because Gus woke up early and was at my side with two thick shoe lace looking drools hanging off his Jowls and two 1/2 dollar sized pools of slobber on the kitchen floor. Good god that dog just aint right sometimes!
I took two slices of aves killer sead bread and layed on some Emerican cheese and then piled it high with the Wok works. OMG! It was delicious. Nice & spicy with a gravy that had a twangy taste to it. I found the combination to be spot on! I'm going to have to do a recipe video but use toasted french bread next time.

The plated pic.
The aftermath! Thanks to a left over dinner roll I enjoyed every drop of that gravy sauce.
