  • Beef tenderloin on the Traeger

Lucked out last week....one of our local markets had beef tenderloin on sale for $8.99 lb. Ok....so it wasn't usda graded or anything, but how bad could a tenderloin be?

Turns out it was darned tasty as a matter of fact...I went very basic on the seasoning, just gave it a light coat of my best olive oil and then sprinkled it with Montreal steak seasoning.

Fired up the Traeger as hot as it would go to get a bit of a sear on it.

It took about 45 minutes to get it to 125° and pulled it off to rest.

Served it up with some nice fresh sweet corn and fresh local tomatoes....also a bit of horseradish sauce on mine.

I will most certainly be buying this again if it goes on sale.
