Got a chance to try out the EZ-Que today. Did a tri-tip in the drum on the rotisserie.
Here's the tri tip rubbed with Pappy's . . .

And here it is in the cradle.

Looks kind of lonely in there all by itself.
I'll have to do a couple next time.
For some unknown reason
I was thinking I'd have a little trouble getting the drum up to 350° so I lit a little extra charcoal. Did one layer of unlit in the basket and about 1/3 chimney of lit on top. Well, I didn't have ANY TROUBLE AT ALL hitting 350°. I did have a little trouble keeping it under 390° for awhile though.
It settled in at about 375°. But since the rotisserie basket is about 3 feet above the charcoal basket, it really wasn't a problem.
Here it is after about an hour.

And all sliced up.

It was super juicy and darn tasty at that. It's going to be fun playing with that rotisserie. Hopefully I'll get to the turkey in a week or so. Might do a basket full of chicken drumsticks this weekend just for the heck of it.
Thanks for looking.
