  • What would you pay for this

Brand new, could be for sale. Trying to help a buddy determine if he should keep it, or sell it. I've seen them for around 1k online, but that's in Canada Eh.
Not sure aboot what he could reasonably charge here.

    - Snap On SSX15P104 Smoker/Grill is the brand. When I went and saw it, it looks exactly the same as a Large/Extra Large BGE, or Kamodo. Very similar from the air intake to the diverter. To me, seems like it was built by one of them, especially for Snap On.

    Thoughts?

Thanks Ryan! For what he paid for it, I'm telling him to keep it. He paid $400. I told him to jump on it. Heck, he could use it for a bit, and still make his money back if he didn't like it as far as I'm concerned.

He stole that. Hell, that table alone is worth the $400 at least. Guess as far as the ceramic, depends on accessories, how much it's been used and since it has changed owners, probably no more warranty for it.

For $400 I wouldn't consider getting rid of that as it will last forever if properly taken care of. Plus, ceramics are worth their weight in gold for smoking in the winter.

If he wanted to sell it and was patient, I figure he could easily get $1k for that setup.

It's brand new, never used. His friend was hard up for money! The stand hasn't even been put together yet. The pic I posted was stolen from the Internet.

Can you get any more info on that stand like name and model number? I'd love to price that and see what the deal is.

That would be perfect for my uses.

I will. He's actually putting it together now. I'll ask him to let me know. Looks like it came as a package with the Snap On Egg though. The egg has the same snap on logo as the stand.

He said there's no serial number etc. on the stand. On the phone with him now. He did just text me this pic though. Looks like it came as a set.

Anyone that would be interested in this? My friend is wanting to sell. Price is negotiable. Interested in hearing what people would pay. He's looking for at least $800 I believe. I think that's totally worth it personally.

It's definitely worth $800, and if I didn't have 2 Eggs I'd be very interested.
Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.
