Got it yesterday, burned in, and added this. A printed piece that holds a Fireboard controller perfectly, then fits in the space for a Masterbuilt controller

I want to hear more about this smoker. I don't think I need one bigger than the 560, but the durability of the fire box has me a bit concerned. I wonder if it's the people that modded the charcoal grate that have higher heat in the fire box causing it to deteriorate. And I see there's now a stainless firebox mod. Since you have one of each, I'm thinking you like it. I'm also curious as to what the Fireboard gives you that the built-in controller doesn't.

Well, the best benefit of the Fireboard is it gives me a wifi connection that neither the 560 nor 1050 gives me. I have 4 different Android devices and can't connect any of them to either one of them.
