  • Heirloom Tomatoes

I just ordered some heirloom tomatoe seeds......this time of year I'm sooo sick of winter that I'm a sucker for the annual seed catalogs.
    Anyone else have this problem??

USED to have that problem. It was also called "ex-wife #2". I'd come home from a business trip in the early Spring and find the day lily, iris and rose catalogs on the coffee table.

That ex managed to drop about $5K per spring on the garden. Never ceased to amaze me. Well, "never" up to the point where I fired her.

My tomatoes and peppers are growing happily under the grow lights in the spare bedroom...Six to eight weeks to planting outside...

I just buy from my local ace hardware store.. 9.99 a flat for veggies...fit the whole garden in one flat... generally get a second for just peppers!! so for about 20 bucks.. I let them do the work.. never had any issues... I do grow my own basil though... cause my plants give me seeds...and they are easy to harvest..
