We have decided it is the best place for almost every thing but beef meat and chicken parts. pork is great and cheap. the produce is from all the local farms around here or Mexico. I guess the trucks came in the morning from the locals farms (so I was told) the onions made the area smell so good. white, sweet yellow and red. had to get some of each. making Taco tonight. bought serranos to add to the fixings. Had a small piece of beef in the fridge left over from weekend Q. well lets make a snack chopped up the beef, onion and a serrano. and warm up the taco shells on the comal. they must of had those serranos next to the ghost peppers in the fields. those things were very hot. I had to have three. the privates. ho;y diver. on fire. Back to taco's three lbs of top sirloin. flour and corn tortillas. and all the fixes to include limes and cold Modelo's. sti;; wondering how to honor our lost men and women.state is on fire and all forms of fire banned.so fire works are out. thinking about 10ga blanks and the steel cannon. that is always a Hoot. we shall see.

I have one just down the street. Excellent produce, and a real butcher counter. Love getting cuts you can'rt easily find at a chain. Things like beef cheeks, and pork shanks. Found tons of good stuff there. Buy local as they say.

The preseasoned/marinaded beef and chicken fajita meat for the Mexi-market is my go to for protein when I'm running short on time. The store closest to me has mesquite charcoal that burns super hot and is great for grilling. My only complaint is it seems to pop and spark a lot in the chimney when getting going and that makes me a bit nervous
