      cheek meat is the best. not many know of it. Boy child just went to pearl harbor for navy reserve stuff. be there a month. he has been there several times already. and made buds. they have several fishing charters booked ..he say;s fed ex next day if he catchs enough. he works for f x express. very cheap for him if not free. lol. not sure if grouper is there. but dolphin marlin and snapper are there all good eats.

        I used to feel the same way... why waste a good taco with fish? But then I tried one... now I love them.

        Fish cheeks are the best! Hands down best fish I've ever eaten, anywhere, anytime, was on a small fishing boat in Alaska halibut fishing. We'd pull in the fish, cut out the cheeks and throw the rest in the hold, then pan fry the cheeks in just a little oil with nothing but seasoning salt. Amazing stuff. I wish I could go back.
