  • Farberware Open Hearth Broiler and Rotisserie Mad Hunky Turkey Breast Test Run

I did this a couple of weeks ago...had a small turkey breast, rubbed it down with Mad Hunky, stuck it on the spit and let it go. Slow roasted and was done in about 3 1/2 hours. Sorry that the sliced pics aren't very good but the turkey was very moist and tasty! Next time I hope to plan better, get a fresh turkey breast from a local place and try the Mad Hunky brine.

    Still loving the Farberware Rotisserie!

On at 6:22PM according the clock in background

    At 7:31PM

9:06PM about 30 minutes before it was done. The skin crisped up pretty nice, too.

    Sliced after a short rest

Thanks for viewing my turkey test run!

I love my old Open Hearth rotisserie. I have several posts here with turkey. It's my favorite way to do an MH turkey.

Pretty sweet...and I love the contrast of the simplistic open hearth on top of the NASA Space Shuttle Stove.
