Thought I'd share another recipe that the son loves... When he was little this recipe made it easy to sneak in all sorts of veggies, grated squash, carrots, mushroom etc... I look for quick and easy during the week and save the low and slow for the weekends hahaha... I'm sure ya'll can come with alot of variations! Thanks for checking me out!
2 lbs ground beef or pork (I prefer the pork)
1 med onion
Chopped garlic, salt, pepper, italian seasoning.. whatever seasoning to taste
2 cans grands bisquits ( I use the homestyle buttery)
2 pkgs (8 oz each) shredded cheese (I used shredded mexican & mozz on this one)
2 24 oz spag sauce
Brown meat and onions (or whatever veggies you want to add) Sonny boy and the hubs like it simple :/ tear apart bisquits into smal pieces. mix meat, sauce, veggies, bisquits and 1 package of cheese. Top with remaining cheese cook covered @ 350 until cheese is bubbly and bisquits are cooked through.About 1/2 hr. Quick weekday meal that the kiddos will love!
FYI I have put this in a 9x13 cassarole dish and as the bisquits rise so does the mess in the bottom of the oven...now I just use my roasting pan coated n Pam. Turns out great!
