  • Smoked Cherries?

Any one out there ever smoked cherries? I am looking for some ideas other than just putting them on the smoker whole. I am thinking once they are smoked that I am either going to make a BBQ sauce or a finishing sauce for some chops/Que. I have been smoking for about 15 years now and just looking for some new crazy ideas. Thanks for the help.

I don't see why you couldn't put them in a pan with a little sugar sprinkled on them and into the smoker. That should give you lots of juice for your sauce.

I thought of that and I was hoping that I would be thinking correctly. Thanks for the input
