I have the meater+ and I am m'eh. I liked it it at first. When it works its spot on. That said sometimes it doesn't want to work. That seems to be happening more frequently. I have to reset it. And their customer service sucks. That's if you can get a hold of them. I can't recommend because of the CS issue and it seems to be like wearing out.Originally posted by MichChef View PostReady to pull the trigger on one or the other. I GOTTA think- self contained electronics in THAT environment have a pretty limited lifetime. I’d think the senders would be considered “disposable”... maybe 15 cooks and that’s what ya get. Electronics HATE heat.Originally posted by gmotoman View Post

Well I sent it back today. I got it on sale. This info that I am sharing is based on AMAZON where I purchased mine. Here's what I noticed....Originally posted by Richtee View Post

1. It went on sale early 2024.
2. Most of the 1 star reviews on/for the meater + are were all purchased 2024
3. Beginning to think with the new model they introduced and all the issues similar to mine they knew they had a lemon and sold them anyway.
Yes there are reviews with more stars, but the 1` star reviews are all saying basically the same thing, and have the same complaint.

I was going to keep my mouth shut because I was embarrassed for getting screwed over, and no one seemed interested in one. But now that people are asking I had to come forward with my disappointment.Originally posted by SMOKE FREAK View Post

I get interested in something and then start shopping for the best deal. In the process, I sometimes lose interest and end up with nothing. Heck, it took me a dozen years or more to upgrade my two Maverick et73 (or whatever it was called).Originally posted by gmotoman View Post

This is totally me. I probably have 200 tabs open in my browser from things I started to research, then lost interest or something else took over. And then it's months or even years before I get back to the first thingOriginally posted by SMOKE FREAK View Post
